Biology Teacher - South Granville High School

After working in the scientific community, Alicia went back to school to earn her teaching license. Today she brings that experience to her students at South Granville High School
where she teaches Biology and Honors Biology. Alicia says "people often think I'm crazy for wanting to teach high school, but I love my job and seeing kids succeed makes it all
worth it".
Alicia is also a long time student of Master Lee; she started training with him over ten years ago, and currently holds the rank of third degree black belt.
She is also a volunteer for Wake County Animal Shelter. Alicia received a B.S in Biological Sciences from North Carolina State University in 2004. She resides in
Raleigh, NC with her husband and two dogs.
