Karen Burke State of North Carolina Karen is a PMP Certified IT Project Manager, currently working with the State of North Carolina. In her 30+ years as an IT Professional spanning the pharmaceutical industry, consulting, and state government arenas, Karen has been a software developer, business analyst, project manager, and owned and managed her own staffing company business. Karen's volunteer activities include Interact, developing a church library, and leading several women's ministries at her church. Karen has a BA from William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri in Math & Psychology. After raising three children, Karen and her husband, Eddie enjoy traveling, reading, exploring new adventures, and enjoying life. Karen has been a student of Tae Kwon Do for two years, currently with the rank of High Red Belt. Karen was appointed to the Lee Brothers' Sidekick Foundation Board in July 2010. |
