Grand Master JungHo Lee is the Head Master at Lee Brothers Tae Kwon Do Academy in Raleigh. Tae Kwon Do is not only a way of life for him; it is also a family tradition. Master Lee is the youngest of the World Renown Six Lee Brothers teaching Tae Kwon Do in America. Lee Brothers are famous in the Taekwondo community throughout the world and are affectionately called “The Planet’s Largest Family of Masters”.
Master Lee teaches with a warm, approachable style and genuine confidence, always ready to offer gentle guidance or firm direction when needed. His students respect him deeply, not only as a teacher but also as a caring individual. He is gentle and kind, with a strong sense of self and integrity that shines through in all he does. In a world that can sometimes feel negative, Master Lee’s positive outlook and sincere encouragement make him a true role model. He embodies the wisdom and humility of a martial artist, always inspiring his students to seek his guidance and support.

Master Lee’s professional journey is distinguished by numerous certifications, titles, and extensive experience. As a Certified Tactical Master Instructor of Taekwondo (Kukkiwon 7th degree), Hapkido, and CDT, he has earned multiple championship titles, including the prestigious USTU National Taekwondo Championship Gold Medal in 1992. A graduate of North Carolina State University, he contributed many years as a dedicated faculty member in the Physical Education department at Duke University in Durham, NC. Master Lee has been honored with the Humanitarian Award, several Instructor of the Year and Academy of the Year awards, and has received multiple citations and commendations from Kukkiwon (World Taekwondo headquarters in Korea), the World Taekwondo Federation, and various esteemed international organizations.

In 2026, Master Lee was honored with the prestigious Laurel Wreath Award by North Carolina Governor Josh Stein for his outstanding contributions to athletics in the state. Previously, in 2002, he was awarded the National Martial Arts Day Proclamation by then-Governor Mike Easley.
