Grand Master JungHo Lee stands as the distinguished Head Master of Lee Brothers Tae Kwon Do Academy in Raleigh. For Master Lee, Tae Kwon Do is not just a discipline—it is a legacy, deeply rooted in a family tradition of excellence. As the youngest of the internationally renowned Six Lee Brothers, he is part of a lineage celebrated globally as “The Planet’s Largest Family of Masters.” Their name is synonymous with leadership, integrity, and the highest standards within the Taekwondo community worldwide.
Master Lee’s teaching is a masterful blend of warmth, confidence, and authority. Widely respected for his approachable demeanor and unwavering integrity, he stands as both mentor and role model to his students. His leadership style fosters an environment of trust, motivation, and respect—empowering students to excel not only in martial arts but also in character and life. Master Lee’s career is marked by elite credentials, distinguished titles, and decades of high-level experience. As a Certified Tactical Master Instructor (Kukkiwon 7th degree) in Taekwondo, Hapkido, and CDT, he has captured multiple championship victories—including the coveted USTU National Taekwondo Championship Gold Medal. A proud graduate of North Carolina State University, Master Lee has also shaped the next generation as a respected faculty member at Duke University. His exemplary leadership has been recognized with the Humanitarian Award, multiple Instructor of the Year and Academy of the Year honors, and prestigious citations from Kukkiwon, the World Taekwondo Federation, and other leading international organizations.
In 2026, Master Lee received the distinguished Laurel Wreath Award from North Carolina Governor Josh Stein, recognizing his extraordinary impact on athletics statewide. His legacy of excellence was previously honored in 2002 with the National Martial Arts Day Proclamation by Governor Mike Easley—further affirming his profound contributions to martial arts and the broader community.
